The ACTA Foundation funds the creation, development and production of catechetical projects which foster and support adult faith development in the Roman Catholic tradition.
Through its grants the ACTA Foundation supports innovative catechetical initiatives for adults that will have a broad impact on the life of the Roman Catholic Church. The Foundation is ordinarily able to accept grant proposals within the $5,000 - $50,000 range.
Proposals must be submitted online via the Grant Application page.
Proposals may be submitted at any time. Proposals will be reviewed by the ACTA Board at its bi-annual meetings (early Fall and early Spring).
Proposal sent to the ACTA Foundation for review should not be submitted to other funding agencies while under consideration by ACTA.
The Foundation will give priority to projects designed for the catechesis of adults which evidence creativity and potential for impact in the wider life of the Roman Catholic Church in the United States.
The ACTA Foundation requires a copy of any produced material that was funded (or partially funded) by ACTA.
An evaluation and financial report of the project is required upon the publication or completion of the project.
Next Deadline: April 21, 2021 for the Spring meeting
